Although it’s not a huge deal, as I’m sure that real engineers don’t have an indicator like that. I feel like there should be an indicator that lets the driver know about any uphill/downhill slopes. I use the realistic controls, because separate throttle and brakes is a better experience than the slider. When playing with the realistic controls, this makes it difficult to control the train. I loved driving these locomotives in the sessions, so why aren’t they in free drive?Īnd the physics. Specifically the GP9 on Canadian Pacific, and the GP38-2 on Canadian National. However, some locomotives from the sessions aren’t included in free drive. I love the free drive, it’s the best part of any Train Driver Journey game. Once you’re done with those, there’s the free drive, which is really fun to mess around in. The missions/sessions, whatever they’re called, are good fun, and there’s about 5 of them.
